My friend Colette Kenney has put together an amazing 7 day course that I just finished called, “Universal Laws that Make Relationships Work.”
Whether you’re in a relationship or looking for one, this course is for you if you want to be in a relationship that is healthy and really works.
What’s

The other day my friend, Maddie, called me to ask if I’d support her by coming to a clothing party she was having for her new business, Jockey Person to Person.
She said, “This is me ‘Crossing the Line’ and stepping into my fullest self in my new business venture.”
Maddie was a participant in a workshop my friend, Jim Hammond and I led about a month ago called, Cross The Line.
We designed this workshop to assist people in identifying where they feel stuck in their lives in order to discover new, powerful, creative and fun ways to move out

I found this really great article about the 10 weirdest spa treatments by Patrick Kiger. It made me think that my massage practice may need a bit of spicing up!
He writes, “how about a slithery snake massage or a pedicure from a school of hungry fish? Or perhaps a cactus needle massage, a facial with human placenta tissue, or a scrub with nightingale droppings? Snail slime moisturizer is said to be wonderfully rejuvenating, too. And if you crave full-body relaxation, maybe baking in a Korean oven sauna or taking a dip in a tub of Czech beer will do the

What do you think of sin and judgment?
I was fortunate to spend some time with a former Pastor of mine last weekend, Tom. He used to be the chaplain in my college and was such an integral part of my spiritual development. He’s Lutheran, the religion I grew up with. He always pushed the envelop, that’s why I could relate to him so well.
He’s since retired and lives in Portland, Maine, so I joined him and his wife for church. It was a great service, I loved the pastor, and the sermon kept me laughing and paying attention.
However, since attending

At the workshop I went to, Cheryl Richardson talked a lot about honoring our soul’s purpose.
But before we get into honoring it, how do we even know what our Soul’s Purpose is? Well, apparently we are born with it imprinted on our finger tips.
There’s a Native American expression that says…much more poetically than I can say it…We come into this world and leave this world with our Soul’s Purpose painted on our fingertips.
When I got my hand analysis read, I was told that my soul’s purpose is to be a butterfly and follow my heart!
If you’re curious about your

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of going to Cheryl Richardson and Jonathan Holland’s workshop on Grace. What a team they are. Cheryl is a life coach and John is a medium. Both of them have perfected living a life that honors their soul.
Lama Surya Das, author of Awakening the Buddha Within, says, “Grace is the ‘isness’ of life. It’s the recognition that everything is connected and sacred. The more in touch we are with this natural abundance of life, the less we need.”
Cheryl Richardson lives her life as if guided by a powerful Divine force. She said

“Is he cute?” is a question I hear myself asking a bunch these days.
Have you ever noticed that when you’re single and starting out in the dating scene there’s a superficial trap that you can easily fall into? It’s like all of the personal value development that you’ve been doing all of this time goes out the window.
I was talking to a friend recently about his shoes. He has about 4 times more shoes than I have! His reason…”After my divorce I realized if I’m going to get dates I’d better start paying attention to my outfits!”
I notice I’m

If you’ve been to Whole Foods lately you have probably noticed that some of the fruits and veggies have been given an ANDI score.
So what exactly is an ANDI score and why should you care?
Well, this is all part of the Health Starts Here program at Whole Foods which is centered around the “Aggregate Nutrient Density Index” or ANDI. These are some Super Foods that you may want to throw into your shopping cart.
Dr. Joel Fuhrman, founder of Eat Right America created this Nutrient Density Scoring System which analyzes many nutrients in a food product.
An ANDI score shows the nutrient

Yippie! Day 10 of the Master Cleanse is here and I actually feel great.
So, would I do this Master Cleanse again? Hmmm, I think my body is pretty healthy to begin with, so I don’t think I need such an extreme cleanse again. I’d rather do a cleanse where I can eat yummy veggies and fruit and have some protein shakes. The Standard Process 21 day cleanse is my preference for that.
But I must say it was a great experience and I know that my body worked really efficiently to clean out and refresh itself. It is also

As I’m writing this I’m on Day 8 of this Master Cleanse. I actually feel quite spiffy, even though all I’ve been consuming for the last 8 days is the lemonade drink, salt water and herbal tea.
How can this be?
Well here’s how this Master Cleanse works.
Since the act of digesting food uses much of our energy on an ongoing basis, it makes sense that the elimination of solid food for short periods of time will make the energy normally used for digestion available for the process of detoxification.
That’s why the Master Cleanse has us stop eating food… so that the
