Law of Attraction Technique: Pivoting

Share

I’m sitting in the Baltimore Airport waiting for my flight. I love airports, but I must say today I’m a bit tired and it’s already been a long week, so I’m noticing myself a bit grumpy!

This isn’t like me, but I’m giving myself a break… Because if I don’t, who will?

As I’m sitting here I started realizing – wow, this seat is actually comfortable! It’s one of those cushy ones I can plug this iPhone into.

Then I started realizing that I am perfectly comfortable temperature-wise.  And then I realized my belly is perfectly filled. All of my basic needs are

Law of Attraction Technique: Which Thought Feels Better

Share
Last night my friend Michele and I had our first Law of Attraction Intensive Class.

We’re holding this 9 week course here in Portland, Maine.  It is for people who are new to the LOA who want to delve deep into the subject and get lots of Law of Attraction tools for their toolbox.

So, I figured I’d sprinkle in some of our Law of Attraction lessons on this blog.
Here’s an activity we did last night.  It’s to help people begin to understand the fact that we have the freedom to choose our thoughts, which will in turn change the way we

Time Management Tools

Do you ever feel overwhelmed and stressed that you have so much to do and so little time?As an Entrepreneur…or human, learning time management can be a pain in the butt, but crucial.

I’ve been talking with people lately about the advantages of time management and organization ideas.  It doesn’t always fit into my scanner-multi-tasking personality, but I know it’s probably good for me.

Check out this video of a pretty easy organizational idea that my friend, Jodi, uses.

Time Management Exercise:
You’ll Need:

A (fun to look at every day) folder
Small sticky notes
Your favorite pen

Here’s what you do:

Write down every task that you

Know What You Want…Then Stop Wanting

Share

With the New Year upon us many of us are making our resolutions and intentions.

“I want to lose 10 pounds.”

“I want to find my soul mate.”

“I want to make lots of money this year.”

Since the universe is so precise on what it gives back to us, when we say, “I want…”, it will give us just that…a continued state of wanting.

You see, wanting communicates to you and the universe that you do not have something.  It says that you are in a state of not having it but wishing you did.  It’s a perpetual

HAPPY NEW YEAR! And I hope you enjoy these questions in the video that will get you thinking of your theme for your life in 2010.

Santa…C(l)ause and Effect

Share

My 9 year old nephew, Jacob, has been saving his money for months to get a Wii. What he doesn’t know is that Santa is going to deliver one to his house Thursday night while visions of sugar-plums are dancing in his head.

The Santa story reminds me of the Law of Cause and Effect.

Let’s look at it this way. Jacob has been visualizing having this Wii. He plays it at his friend’s house and he imagines having it in his home as well. He has been focusing his time and effort into getting a means to

The Best Present You Can Give

Share

‘Tis the season for presents.

This morning I got all bundled up in my long johns, ski pants and thick jacket to take my walk to the ocean. It was about 11 degrees! It felt colder than Antarctica! Such an invigorating way to start a day, I must say.

Anyway, I came upon some ice.

Have you walked on ice this season yet?

It occurred to me that the only way to walk onto a patch of ice is to be totally present. All of your attention has to go on exactly what your feet are doing. You become so aware of your body

Making Lemonade out of Jack Daniels

Share

Every morning while I’m sitting on the rocks by the ocean savoring and meditating I hear a couple walking along picking up all of the empties from the night before.

This morning I heard the woman saying, “A Jack Daniels…FIFTEEN cents!” with such enthusiasm. I haven’t heard anyone get so excited over 15 cents since payphones disappeared.

We got to talking and she explained that a couple years ago during their morning walk they were a bit disgusted by all of the trash and party remnants on this beautiful path along the ocean.

So, they decided they would start taking trash

Living Outside The Box

When was the last time you thought outside the box?

Lately I’ve been wanting to start a blog entitled “Living Outside The Box”… The whole idea of creating a life outside the box is so exciting.

That’s what most of us do in network marketing and home based businesses. We work outside the box. Our schedule is outside the box. Even our thoughts are usually outside it. But how outside?

Let’s look at this concept a bit deeper.

Office-ing Outside The Box:
Right now I’m sitting on rocks by the ocean typing this blog post on my iPhone… There’s a WordPress
