Part 1: How Comfy Are You With Money?

Hey there! Welcome Back, I appreciate you being here... make sure you subscribe to my free 7 day Manifesting Course if you haven't already!

What limiting beliefs about money are keeping your pockets empty?

This post is the first of a three part series I’m doing on money.

I was sharing with my friends the other day about an opportunity I just joined that is a quick and big money maker. One of them said, “I can’t imagine making money on something that I’m not passionate about.”

At first I felt a bit embarrassed and started judging my character. What has happened to me that has made me so money hungry? They all appeased me and said, “It’s good, I just couldn’t do it.”

Let me give you a little context here. We had all just finished our weekly positive group meeting where we all had written affirmations around money!

Here’s one of our affirmations:
“I have all the money I can spend”. This is an affirmation that Jerry Hicks (of Esther Hicks and Abraham-Hicks) would say, (who made most of their money early on through MLM opportunities), by the way.  So, it all seems a bit ironic to me.

Most of my long time friends and family know me as someone who has worked in social service type jobs, making non-profit salaries.

I used to think business people and rich folks were selfish and greedy.

Fortunately, I’ve been around enough business people to know that this is not the case. And in fact most of the rich people I know are the ones able to donate the most money to charities…and help support those nonprofits I worked in as we begged people to fund our program!

So, what is it about money that’s such a touchy subject, anyway?

I have recently been introduced to Morgana Rea’s Financial Alchemy process.  The idea behind this process is that we can transform our beliefs and experience around money, especially when we can personify Money.

The facts about Money are:

  • Our relationship with money parallels our relationship with everything else in our life.
  • Lack of money keeps us from realizing our dreams.
  • Our relationship with money is as real and dynamic as a relationship with a person.
  • Your relationship with money is a direct reflection of your relationship with yourself.
  • Your relationship with yourself is a direct reflection of how you live your life.

So, since money obviously runs through every aspect of ourselves, we ought to start feeling more comfortable with it.

In the next post we will look at our limiting beliefs around money and create our “Money Monster”.

Then, in the following post we’ll get in touch with our “Money Honey”.

Here are some tips for attracting more abundance into you’re life:

  • Appreciate money.
  • Learn to be a Gracious Receiver.
  • Clear out physical and mental clutter that blocks your channels.
  • Associate with Successful People.
  • Celebrate Success.
  • Make Money Happy. (More about this in the 3rd post of this series…)
  • Use Affirmations.
  • Open up a bigger funnel to Receive Abundance.

Leave a comment below and share some tips you have about attracting and being more comfortable with money.
