The other day my friend, Maddie, called me to ask if I’d support her by coming to a clothing party she was having for her new business, Jockey Person to Person.
She said, “This is me ‘Crossing the Line’ and stepping into my fullest self in my new business venture.”
Maddie was a participant in a workshop my friend, Jim Hammond and I led about a month ago called, Cross The Line.
We designed this workshop to assist people in identifying where they feel stuck in their lives in order to discover new, powerful, creative and fun ways to move out of “stuckness” and into action.
During this workshop each participant identified the limiting beliefs that were keeping them stuck in a particular area in their life.
We did exercises so they could make peace with these limiting beliefs in order to let them go.
Then we walked them through a process to look at this same area in their life from different perspectives. This tool allows us to approach any area of difficulty in our lives from a place of personal power…rather than being victims of circumstances.
Out of this process comes a new perspective that resonates and inspires each participant to want to “cross the line” into a life of power and fulfillment.
So…of course I’d love to support Maddie in her new endeaver…so
much that I even offered to host a party!
It’s such an amazing feeling to see people actually take what they got out of a workshop you’ve spent energy creating and apply it to their “real” life.
Empowering people to embody their own power is what I love about
coaching and workshops.
If you’d like to also support Maddie in her new endeavor and look really good in these comfy clothes…
check out her Jockey Person to Person website http://www.myjockeyp2p.com/maddie
(and I think you can use the Hostess name: Sue)
How have you “Crossed the Line” in your life? We’d love to hear from you, so leave us a comment below…

The one thing that you could have mentioned to tie into some of your other blog posts, is that we all still need to lean on others for moral support.

Sue, Thanks for blogging about my workshop success and my new business venture. I hope to meet some of your local friends on June 23rd in you new massage space! OBTW, love the video :>)
Hi Sue 🙂 This is such a great story and video. It is so obvious how much you care about your clients and workshop participants. And as I get to know you better, how much you care about life. I love the idea of your workshop “crossing the line” and I'd love to chat with you some more about that. I am preparing a workshop myself right now for clients in Calgary, Alberta where I live. The title of the workshop is “Too Many Mr. Wrong's? It's Your Turn to Find Mr. Right” and I think your concept of crossing the line could be really useful!

Great Message Sue, I really enjoyed the interview with Maddie and seeing her passion for being creative and sharing it with the world.
Hi very important massage sharing by this blog all is very great sharing.
Thank you Cheryl for checking it out!
Love the idea of your workshop, Colette! Wish I lived closer to Calgary!
Thank you Maddie for being game! I love my clothes, BTW! They fit great and are so comfortable.
Yes, it's great to have others as moral support, for sure!
Workshops are a cool adjunct to your promotional and educational efforts. This is a great look into that. Love the interview and respect your leadership and initiative out here, Sue!
I would also like an idea of how to use it in other conversations as well. Any and all help would be appreciated but please don't use a translator. If I wanted Google Translate I'd do it myself.
Thanks for coming by. I can see no reasonable explanation for moving next door except to intimidate. Perhaps he thinks this is cute, but in my mind the only thing he has accomplished is the degradation of his credibility as a writer.
